ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE

JAKAP – Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Cakrawala Pembelajaran is an open-access journal committed to the wide dissemination of scholarly research without subscription or access barriers for readers. To support the sustainability and quality of journal management and publication services, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted articles as outlined below.

Submission Fee

Free of Charge

There is no fee for manuscript submission. Authors may submit their manuscripts to JAKAP without any initial payment.

Review and Editorial Process

Free of Charge

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and editorial evaluation without additional charges.

Publication Fee

The publication fee is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

  • Authors from Indonesia: IDR 200,000
  • International Authors: USD 12

Notes

The publication fee covers:

  • Editorial management and manuscript processing.
  • Copyediting and formatting services.
  • Journal website and OJS platform maintenance.
  • Online publication and dissemination of articles.
  • Journal indexing and archiving services.

No additional fees will be charged for manuscript revisions.

Waiver and Discount Policy

JAKAP provides partial or full APC waivers for eligible authors under the following circumstances:

  • Manuscripts demonstrating outstanding academic quality and significant scholarly contribution.
  • Authors from developing countries with limited research funding.
  • Articles with substantial impact on the advancement of education and learning, as determined by the Editorial Board.

Authors wishing to request a fee waiver or discount should contact the editorial office and provide a justification along with any supporting documentation.

Payment Procedure

Payment instructions will be provided after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Authors may complete payment through:

  • Bank transfer
  • Online payment methods approved by the journal

Proof of payment must be submitted to the editorial office for verification before publication.

Refund Policy

  • APC payments are generally non-refundable.
  • Refunds may only be considered in cases of administrative errors made by the journal.
  • If an author withdraws a manuscript after the peer-review process has begun or after acceptance, any APC paid will not be refunded.
