Pendidikan Agama Islam Sebagai Media Penanaman Etika Pemanfaatan Energi Dan Sumber Daya Alam

The overuse of energy and natural resources (SDA) is one of the main challenges in sustainable development. The environmental crisis, ecosystem imbalance, and increasing pollution are the result of human behavior that does not pay attention to ecological ethics. In this context, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a strategic role as a medium for instilling moral, spiritual values, and ecological awareness in students. This literature study aims to analyze how PAI can function as a means to build ethical energy and natural resource utilization through the integration of Islamic values, pedagogical approaches, and the habituation of environmentally friendly behavior. This study examines various sources such as journals, books, and previous research on the concept of khalifah fil ard, the principle of balance (mīzān), the prohibition of isrāf (excess), and the importance of conservation from an Islamic perspective. The results of the review indicate that PAI contributes significantly to shaping energy-saving behavior through the internalization of ecological moral values, reinforcement of environmental material, and the application of contextual learning methods. PAI teachers act as role models (uswah) and facilitators of habituation, for example, encouraging students to save electricity, maintain cleanliness, and use natural resources responsibly. This study concludes that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) can serve as an important foundation for instilling ethical energy and natural resource use, thereby fostering a generation with a green character, environmental awareness, and the ability to support sustainable development in accordance with Islamic teachings.
