PLAGIARISM POLICY

Jurnal Sultra Elementary School is strongly committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ensuring that all published articles are free from any form of plagiarism. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited and may result in the rejection or retraction of the manuscript from publication.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the following actions:

  • Copying text, ideas, images, or data from other sources without proper attribution or citation.

  • Using previously published work without clear acknowledgment or permission (self-plagiarism).

  • Making minor modifications to another person’s work and claiming it as original.

Plagiarism Screening Process

All manuscripts submitted to Sultra Elementary School Journal will undergo a plagiarism check using tools such as Turnitin or equivalent software to ensure originality.

  • The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%, with no more than 5% similarity from a single source.

  • Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be rejected or returned to the author for revision and resubmission.

Actions Against Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the review or publication process:

  • Before publication: The manuscript will be rejected or returned for revision.

  • After publication: The article will be retracted, and the author may be subject to sanctions, including a ban on future submissions.

Authors bear full responsibility for the originality of their work and are expected to properly cite all sources used in the manuscript. To ensure quality and transparency, authors are strongly encouraged to perform a plagiarism check (e.g., using Turnitin) before submitting their manuscripts to the journal.
