AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to Jurnal Sultra Elementary School are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth editorial process and compliance with academic publication standards.

1. General Requirements

  • The manuscript must be original, has not been published previously, and is not under review in any other journal.

  • Articles may be written by students, lecturers, researchers, or academic collaborations between institutions.

  • Manuscripts must be submitted online through the Open Journal System (OJS) or via the journal’s official editorial email (if OJS is not yet available).

  • Submitted articles must align with the focus and scope of the journal.

2. Types of Articles Accepted

  • Research Articles (empirical or experimental studies).

  • Systematic Literature Reviews or critical theoretical studies.

  • Conceptual or analytical papers that offer theoretical insights relevant to elementary education.

3. Manuscript Format

  • Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English using clear and academic language.

  • Authors must use the official journal template, available for download from the journal’s website.

  • The manuscript should be between 10–20 pages (A4), including tables, figures, and references.

  • Formatting: 1.5 line spacing, margins 3 cm on all sides, Times New Roman, 12 pt font.

  • References should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) citation style, latest edition.

4. Manuscript Structure

  • Title (maximum 20 words)
    Concise, informative, and clearly reflects the content of the article.

  • Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
    Include full name(s), institutional affiliation(s), and active email address(es).

  • Abstract (150–250 words)
    Summarizes the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the study. Include 3–5 keywords.

  • Introduction
    Explains the background, research problem, and study objectives.

  • Research Methodology
    Describes the research design, participants, instruments, and procedures (for empirical research).

  • Results and Discussion
    Presents the findings and their implications based on data analysis.

  • Conclusion and Suggestions
    Summarizes key findings and offers recommendations for future research or practice.

  • References
    List all cited sources following APA 7th Edition guidelines.

5. Publication Ethics

  • All citations and references must be provided accurately and honestly.

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software with a maximum similarity tolerance of 25%.

  • Authors are required to attach a Statement of Originality and Free from Plagiarism letter.

6. Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two qualified reviewers.

  • The average review process takes 1–4 weeks depending on the complexity of the manuscript.

  • Authors will be given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ feedback before final acceptance.
