This study aims to describe the patterns of emotional intelligence development in peer interactions among children at RA Dinul Islam, Abeli District, Kendari City. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The research informants consisted of the head of the kindergarten and two teachers, while children in Group B were the subjects of observation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data trustworthiness was established through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that children's emotional intelligence development was reflected in empathy, caring, sharing, tolerance, cooperation, and the ability to express feelings. However, these abilities had not developed uniformly among the children. Some children still required guidance in understanding their peers' feelings, asking permission, waiting for their turns, following rules, and regulating emotional responses. This development occurred within the context of peer interactions and the support provided by teachers and families. The study highlights the importance of fostering prosocial behavior, providing positive role models, implementing cooperative play, and offering continuous emotional guidance to support young children's emotional intelligence development.
