AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Jurnal Edukasi dan Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, conceptual papers, and community service reports related to education and early childhood learning. To ensure the quality and consistency of published articles, authors are required to follow the guidelines below.

1. Manuscript Format and General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
  • The manuscript should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Paper size: A4 (210 × 297 mm).
  • Margins: 3 cm on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right).
  • Font: Garamond, size 11 pt.
  • Line spacing: 1.5 throughout the manuscript, except for tables, figures, and references which may use single spacing.
  • Manuscript length: 6–15 pages, including tables, figures, and references.

2. Manuscript Structure

Title

The title should be concise, informative, and clearly reflect the content of the article. The title must be written in English, using bold uppercase letters (ALL CAPS), and should not exceed 15 words.

Author(s) and Affiliation(s)

Authors should provide their full names without academic titles, institutional affiliations, country, and email addresses. The corresponding author should be clearly identified.

Abstract

The abstract must be written in English and consist of 150–250 words in a single paragraph. It should include the following elements:

Background: Brief description of the research problem or context.
Objective: The purpose of the study.
Method: Research design, participants, instruments, and data analysis procedures.
Results: Main findings of the study.
Novelty: The originality or contribution of the study.
Conclusion: Main conclusion and implications.

Keywords

Provide 3–5 keywords that accurately represent the content of the manuscript.

Introduction

The introduction should explain the research background, problem statement, literature review, research gap, novelty, and research objectives. This section should demonstrate the significance and originality of the study and be supported by recent and relevant scholarly references.

Research Method

This section should clearly describe the research design, participants or sample, instruments, data collection procedures, and data analysis techniques. Sufficient detail should be provided to allow replication of the study.

Results

The results section should present the research findings objectively and systematically. Tables and figures may be included when necessary to enhance clarity.

Discussion

The discussion should interpret the findings in relation to the research objectives, existing theories, and previous studies. Authors should highlight the contribution and novelty of their findings and discuss their theoretical and practical implications.

Conclusion

The conclusion should be written in a single paragraph and include:

Main Findings: Key findings of the study.
Research Contribution: Contribution to theory, methodology, or practice.
Theoretical and Practical Implications: Significance of the findings.
Research Limitations: Limitations that may affect interpretation or generalization.
Future Research Directions: Recommendations for future studies.

Acknowledgments (Optional)

Authors may acknowledge funding agencies, institutions, or individuals who contributed significantly to the completion of the research.

References

References must follow APA Style (7th Edition) and should be managed using reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or RefWorks.

3. Citation and Reference Requirements

  • Use APA 7th Edition in-text citation style.
  • Examples:
    • (Santoso, 2022)
    • (Rahma & Putri, 2021)
    • (Slamet et al., 2020)
  • Manuscripts should include a minimum of 15 references.
  • At least 80% of references must be primary sources, such as journal articles, conference proceedings, and research reports.
  • Authors are strongly encouraged to use references published within the last five years.

4. Plagiarism Policy

  • Submitted manuscripts must be original and must not have been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or equivalent tools.
  • The maximum similarity index allowed is 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases.

5. Submission and Revision Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
  • All submissions undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process.
  • The average review period is approximately 2–8 weeks.
  • Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ comments within the specified revision period.

6. Copyright and Open Access Policy

Jurnal Edukasi dan Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini adopts an Open Access Policy, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), which permits users to share, adapt, and redistribute the material for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and any modifications are indicated.
