PLAGIARISM POLICY

JHUSE (Journal of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and strictly upholding publication ethics. Therefore, this journal enforces a strict anti-plagiarism policy.

  1. Plagiarism Tolerance Limit

    • All submitted manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.
    • The maximum similarity percentage allowed is 20%, including properly cited content.
  2. Unacceptable Types of Plagiarism

    • Direct plagiarism: Copying part or all of a text from another source without attribution.
    • Self-plagiarism: Republishing portions of one’s own previously published work without proper disclosure.
    • Paraphrasing plagiarism: Changing sentence structure but retaining ideas from another source without proper credit.
    • Mosaic plagiarism: Combining phrases from various sources without proper citation.
  3. Consequences of Plagiarism

    • If plagiarism is detected before publication, the manuscript will be rejected immediately.
    • If plagiarism is found after publication, the article will be retracted, and an official retraction notice will be issued.
    • Authors found guilty of plagiarism will be banned from submitting articles to this journal in the future.
