AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Authors submitting manuscripts to AGRONES must adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and efficient publication process.

1. Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted online through the official submission system of AGRONES.
  • The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration in another journal.
  • All submissions must be in English and use clear, concise, and grammatically correct language.

2. Manuscript Format

  • The manuscript should be written in Microsoft Word (.docx) format using 12-point Times New Roman, single-column format, with 1.5 line spacing.
  • Margins should be set at 2.5 cm on all sides.
  • The length of the manuscript should be between 5,000 to 8,000 words, including references.
  • The manuscript should follow the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) structure for research papers.

3. Structure of the Manuscript

  1. Title: Clear, concise, and relevant to the research (maximum 15 words).
  2. Author Information: Full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors. The corresponding author must be indicated.
  3. Abstract: A single paragraph of 150-250 words, summarizing the research objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.
  4. Keywords: 3-5 relevant keywords separated by semicolons (;).
  5. Introduction: Background, research gap, and objectives of the study.
  6. Methods: Detailed explanation of research design, data collection, and analysis methods.
  7. Results and Discussion: Presentation of key findings with relevant discussion and comparison with previous research.
  8. Conclusion: Summary of findings and implications of the research.
  9. Acknowledgments (if any): Recognition of funding sources or contributions.
  10. References: Follow the APA (7th edition) style with at least 70% of references from the last 5 years.

4. Figures and Tables

  • Figures must be high quality (minimum 300 dpi) and labeled sequentially (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.).
  • Tables must be numbered (Table 1, Table 2, etc.) and include a descriptive title.
  • Figures and tables should be embedded in the manuscript at appropriate locations.

5. Citation and References

  • All references must be cited in-text using the author-date format (e.g., Smith, 2022).
  • References must be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript, following APA (7th edition) style.
  • It is recommended to include at least 20 references, with a focus on recent journal articles.

6. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must ensure that their research complies with ethical guidelines, including human and animal research ethics where applicable.
  • Any potential conflict of interest must be disclosed.
  • Manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin, and a similarity index above 20% may lead to rejection.

7. Peer Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Authors may be required to revise their manuscript based on reviewer comments.
  • The final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
