Plagiarism Policy – AGRONES
AGRONES: Journal of Agriculture, Agribusiness, Welfare, Technology, Humanity, Environment, Social, and Economy upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited, and all submitted manuscripts are subject to a rigorous plagiarism screening process.
Plagiarism Screening
- All submitted manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software before the peer-review process.
- The journal follows a maximum similarity threshold of 20% (excluding references and direct quotes).
- Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned for revision or rejected.
Types of Plagiarism Considered Unacceptable
- Direct Plagiarism: Copying text, figures, or data without proper citation.
- Self-Plagiarism: Republishing the author's previous work without significant modification or citation.
- Paraphrasing Plagiarism: Rewriting another author's ideas without proper attribution.
- Fabrication or Falsification: Manipulating research data, results, or images.
Consequences of Plagiarism
- Minor cases: The author will be asked to revise and properly cite the sources.
- Severe cases: Immediate rejection of the manuscript and possible blacklisting of the author from future submissions.
- If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article may be retracted from the journal database.
